  1. I LOVED this! I love when we can submit questions for you to answer, but this was a lot of fun, too, just listening to the banter. I'm glad you're both getting some time off to relax, sounds like you haven't had much of a chance to do that.

I get a Pacey/Joey (FRIENDSHIP) vibe from you two, a little, although I KNOW YOU'RE NOT DATING, don't worry, I didn't mean it like that. :)

I loved hearing what's coming up for the podcast, too. I can't believe it'll end in less than six months, but I am also so excited for you to get to The Episode and also the series finale cause that's one of my favorite eps and one of my favorite series finales ever ever.

    3. I haven't been this excited for them to get to an episode since the season 3 finale! (And I was pretty excited for the last half of season 3 in general thanks to my hardcore shipping of PJo.)

  2. This was a fun podcast! I listened to this one at work, not while driving, so no lives were endangered. (Not that there was any shouting either, pretty sure that would have alarmed my colleagues.)

On the topic of a DC reboot - I don't know that DC as a show has enough of a unique pitch to make a reboot really work. It's a pretty loose concept - three teens are growing up in a small town, and a girl from a big city moves there. Wacky teen hijinks ensue. It's not like doing a Buffy or Roswell reboot, where there's more of a unique premise (e.g. vampires, aliens). The only way I can see it working is if it picks up the same town, with some of the same characters, but is set in the future, and is mostly about their kids growing up in Capeside, and what teen life is like today. (For starters, climate change and rising sea levels are issues already affecting small seaside towns...) What I *don't* want is a version of DC that brings back the same characters and has them play out the same storylines and act the same way as they did when they were teens, except now they're 40, because that would just be depressing to watch.

Charles, I also love camping. Big Sur and Joshua Tree sound like amazing places to camp! I'm making plans this summer to go camping with my dog and my horse :D

  3. Okay, obviously some sad news on the James van der Beek front this week, but I think during last week's episode of Dancing with the Stars, Hal Ozsan (Todd Carr) was in the audience sitting with James's daughter (you see him right after James's second dance, when James runs into the audience to pick up his daughter), and I thought it was really sweet that they seemed to still be friends after all these years, especially since I really liked the Dawson/Todd relationship in season 6. I can't find any confirmation on it though, just my "hey, isn't it that guy?" intuition.

  4. Traci and Charles, are you guys planning on doing another podcast after you finish Dawson’s Speak?

    1. No plans, as of now... When we finish Dawson's Speak, we'll have devoted 3 years to this! That's a long time and we need a little break... Never say never though, we may come back in the future with another one!

    2. Totally understand that you need a break, but if you do decide to do another podcast (got all my fingers crossed!) I would be very happy! My vote goes to Gilmore Girls or The OC :)
